Rob was educated at SACS and the University of Cape Town. He has a BA and an MBA degree. He began his career in communication as a copywriter, first for IMA, then for Ogilvy. For the last 16 years, he has worked as a Strategic Planner on a diverse range of accounts including SAB, Old Mutual and VW. Rob has a particular interest in corporate brand development, the increasing importance of branding in corporate strategy, 360 degree communication, internal brand management and ethnographic research. He has lectured on branding and communication strategy at both Wits and UCT.
