Deon has 18 years of experience in the creative industry. He started his career as an advertising photographer before moving onto art direction. He then became a commercials director before turning to creative directing. He has worked locally, across the continent of Africa as well as oversees from London to the West Indies.

Deon has worked on numerous brands, including Woolworths, Engen, Coke, Guinness, Famous Grouse, Sainsburys, Opel, Musica, PEP, Volkswagen, Distell and Mweb.

He has won Loerie awards for TV and outdoor, an Eagle print award, Vukas and a Media Lion at Cannes. He believes passionately in the creative idea and that the strongest ideas always give the best return on investment.
