Zoom lands the plum job CareerJunction - the largest jobs portal in South Africa - has appointed Zoom Advertising to handle all its marketing and advertising with immediate effect. As part of its pitch to win the business, Zoom undertook its own research to identify, among the Ogilvy workforce, what factors support the decision to change jobs. Armed with this information, Zoom then devised a clever campaign for print, radio, online and innovative outdoor media to get the CareerJunction message across loud and clear. As Zoom's creative director, Deon Robbertze explains: "Our first task has been to recognise that CareerJunction is a web service. So, together with CareerJunction, we contemporised the logo and incorporated the URL. The brand promise, 'Better jobs. More often', illustrates CareerJunction's commitment to providing job seekers with more current jobs of better quality than any other recruitment resource." Zoom director, Heather Swart adds: "We're delighted to have been given the job and we're very excited about our contribution to CareerJunction's future success." CareerJunction is the biggest online recruitment agent in South Africa with an average 40 000 jobs available per month, all of which are current as they're refreshed every 30 days. Around 30 000 people are on the site at any time during waking hours. Back to News index >> |
